Penang Island, Malaysia

It rained heavily in Langkawi and I thought the Ferry trip to Penang Island would be cancelled but I was happy it wasn’t, my happiness was short lived as the Ferry trip across to Penang was still on very unsettled seas. A few hours passed and we arrived at the main harbor in Georgetown, I was pleased it wasn’t as busy as I expected it much more of the opposite.. some bars in the afternoon had the bartenders and just our company, perhaps it was just a slow month but we found the Backpackers lane and this was filled of music and cheap booze being thrown down the gullets of young travelers. After 2 days we left for the coast line to Batu Ferringhi, the coastal drive on Gurney Drive there was beautiful, flash malls, food halls, treats and all, it was there. The Bayview Beach Resort in Batu Ferringhi was older but grand and amazing value, the beaches at the beach bars were far too kind and once again just never enough time.

Palau Langkawi

WP_20160720_2207.jpgWP_20160721_4034.jpg

A week was clearly not enough, the tropical heat, green green island leaves and the sounds of sea water slapping the boat that took me there is some of my favorite things.
Palau Dayang Bunting is and island surrounded by mangroves and has a huge fresh water lake towards the middle of the island. Palau Beras Basah with is crystal clear calm ocean and private vibes was the best  beach to spend a few hours on.

Mayhem Manila – The Like magazine

I can feel you staring at me. I don’t even have to look, know you want it but you don’t
have what it takes.
The sweat in my chest is the only thing that’s cool, so don’t piss me off cos I’m already hot.
You’re in my space, the streets are Mayhem. I need to get some air.
If you can find me, ill take it off, but you’ll be in my playground, my rooftop, Manila.

Bankerohan, Davao City

Bankerohan markets in Davao city, Philippines, as soon as you get out the truck the smell hits you in the face like a wet fish! this place sells a vast array of everything from livestock to herbs and spices to batteries and the kitchen sink. It is about 6am when we arrived and we are looking to buy fresh tuna and seaweed. These faces really just tell a story that there’s always time for a good time where ever they are.

Testimonial;

I recently got the chance to work with Jules Szoke on a indie style grudge shoot. Jules has eye for capturing natural, raw moments that have an intense energy behind them. His less is more approach to styling and well researched locations made the shoot easy and productive. Jules’s professionalism as well as easy going, friendly personality made me feel extremely comfortable onset as well as encouraged me to really push myself as a model, which are evident in the fantastic end results. We discussed concepts and he listened to my thoughts weeks prior, which resulted in a successful shoot where both photographer and myself (model) were extremely satisfied. Amazing photographer to work with and hope again to the near future. Keep an eye out for ‘Parking Permit’ in LIKE magazines upcoming issue!
